In many of Britain's cities and towns, people need to be better-connected with jobs. Transport is a critical issue for city economies, and better connections are needed both between and within urban areas. This event examined the challenges facing policy-makers, city leaders and local businesses - including congestion charging, governance and the challenges of upgrading Britain's public transport systems during an economic downturn.
