Centre for Cities

The Centre for Cities is a non-partisan research and policy institute, helping cities improve their economic performance.  We work with cities, employers and central government to develop practical policy solutions which help urban economies grow.

Our main goal is to understand how and why economic growth and change takes place in Britain’s cities, and to help cities improve their performance.

At Urban Hub Party Conferences 2008 Centre for Cities worked with Laing O’Rourke on the Skilling up cities fringe event, The Trainline on the Connecting Cities fringe event and the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce on the Cities Incorporated fringe event.
